Rescue a Cav-A-Mo Cav-A-Mo American Eskimo / Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Hybrid Dogs
The Cav-A-Mo is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the American Eskimo and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses. Buoy, the Cav-A-Mo as an adult at about 1 ½ years old.
"We have been blessed with a wonderful dog. One day I was looking at the Sunday classifieds and saw an advertisement "Cavamo Puppy". Not knowing exactly what to expect I was told that the breeder of American Eskimos and Cavalier King Charles dogs, had an oops "mixed" litter. My two small boys, my husband and I all jumped into the car to go see these pups. To make a long story short... this litter was not the most taken care of litter. The pups were so infested with fleas you could see them around the pups eyes. The pups had no life to them, very sick. The only reason we chose our little girl was because she was the only pup that had enough energy to rub her little fuzzy body against my boys, as to say "Hey, just give me a chance.". We scooped her up and paid the man $100. We battled tapeworm, diarrhea, vomiting and a very dull coat. These days are much healthier. Kina is truely heaven sent. She loves being outside, loves playing ball and fetch. She runs like a bolt of lightning. She is beautiful on the inside and on the out."
