Kimola
(Kimolao)

American Eskimo / Lhasa Apso Hybrid Dogs

The Kimola is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the American Eskimo and the Lhasa Apso. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.

Recognized Names:
American Canine Hybrid Club = Kimola
Designer Dogs Kennel Club = Kimolao

Champ, the Kimola ( American Eskimo / Lhasa Apso mix) at 1 year old

His owner states. "He is a very courageous, protective, obedient and very friendly member of our family. He is best friends with everyone, especially our 5 month old daughter! He knows several tricks such as "high five", "shake" and "say please". He also has a very guilty conscious... if we find a magazine torn to shreds all we have to do is say, "Champ, did you do this?" and he will sulk to his kennel."

Cocoa, the Kimola (American Eskimo / Lhasa Apso hybrid) at 1 1/2 years old

"Cocoa, the Lhasa Apso and American Eskimo mix. She's all grown up now, about 1 and a half years old and she has changed a lot. Cocoa is very active. She goes hiking wit me all the time, but she's also a good lap dog. She's excellent at playing fetch and she can perform a few tricks too, like: dance too the music. Cocoa also is a very good guard dog, but sometime she craves for attention a bit and overly eager to meet new people. Other times, she just loves too sleep, in my bed."
