Rescue a Labrabull Labrabull Labrador Retriever / American Pit Bull Terrier Hybrid Dogs The Labrabull is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Labrador Retriever and the American Pit Bull Terrier. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in any of the breeds in the hybrid. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses. "This is Titan, our yard statue. "This is my best friend Eli. He's about 9 months in this picture. His mother is a chocolate Lab and his father is a Pit Bull. I'm not sure where those crazy ears came from, but they're his most charming feature. Eli has made me a former Pit Bull-a-phobe (yeah, I made that term up). I was one of those people that insisted Pit Bulls were mean by nature. Nothing could be further from the truth. I used to have a purebred Yellow Lab, the prototypical "family" dog. Eli has all the legendary Labrador energy, intelligence and love of life, combined with an unbelievably sweet, affectionate disposition and tons of loyalty that my old "family" dog never had. He's a great watchdog too-very alert and on top of things when strangers come around, yet he'll immediately relax and go into good doggie mode the instant he gets the sense from me that this person is okay. I won't deny there are plenty of wonderful breeds out there , but when asked, I recommend the Labrabull every time. He likes a lot of exercise and loves walks, especially when I can let him off his leash to run. The bottom line:Best...Doggie...Ever!"

Whe was rescued fom a California puppymill when she was 1 day away from getting put down. As soon as I saw her I fell in love and she has been my best friend ever since (she follows me around like a shadow). She loves everyone and other dogs, especially ones that are way way bigger than her. We like to go on long walks everyday since her favorite thing is to run and explore. She is a loyal, sweet tempered dog."

"This is Jade. She is a Pit Lab Mix. Her mother is a Pitbull and her father is a Lab. In this picture Jade is about 10 weeks old. At this time Jade already knew how to sit, stay, and lay. She loves to play and jump on new people when they come into the house, but she is generally a calm and a good dog. She listens very well to commands. Jade goes for about an hour walk a day and when she comes in she goes right to sleep. I believe that her first love is food. The minute the food is put into her bowl it disappears and she spends the rest of the day on a quest for more, until her next feeding. Jade is very loving and is already showing signs of loyalty. On walks she always stays close when passing animals, she does not act aggressively towards them when they come near. I try to use Caesars tricks when walking her to attempt to prevent her from pulling me on the leash, but it has not yet been a success. She is just too excited when we are on walks. I was afraid of pit bulls before jade but she is showing me how loving they can be. She loves to cuddle and kiss, and if you don't volunteer kisses she will definitely sneak one. She catches everyone's eye when we walk and is always complimented on how beautiful she is. Jade does not have many dislikes, right now she just loves everything."
"This is Harley, she just turned a year old when this picture was taken. She is a Pit Bull/Chocolate Lab mix. My husband and I adopted her when she was 5 months old. Her previous owners had her chained in the backyard and wanted to give her to a good home as they couldnt give her the care that she needed. She knows our basic commands and obeys very well when commanded. She is the most gentle and submissive dog I have seen. She loves to play with our cat and any other dog she comes in contact with. She loves the water and discovered this winter that she loves the snow even more. She is very very strong. Everyone loves her but I have started to see the stigma surrounding the pit bull breed. People come up to me and say how cute and sweet she is but when they ask what she is and I say part pit bull they shy away. She has been a huge joy in our lives and I would like nothing more than to someday own a pure breed Pit Bull." __________________________________
