Description |
They are said to generally resemble the Landseer Newfoundland. The pattern is said to be the same but the black of the Landseer in replaced by brown on the Vodolaz. |

Exercise |
This breed need to be taken on a
daily walk. While out on the walk the dog must be made to heel beside or behind the person holding the lead, as in a dog's mind the leader leads the way, and that leader needs to be the human. |

Origin |
The Moscow Vodolaz is another breed created in the former Soviet Union at the same time as the Black Russian Terrier and Moscow Watch Dog among others.
It results from a cross between the Newfoundland and the Caucasian Ovtcharka. Vodolaz is said to translate literally to English as diver of deep water. |
