Coton De Tulear / Poodle Hybrid Dogs
The Poo-Ton is not a
purebred dog. It is a cross between the Coton De
Tulear
and the Poodle. The best way to determine the
temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you
can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed.
Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50%
purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed
multi-generation crosses.
"Manolo is a 4 month old puppy in this picture. His dad is a red Miniature Poodle, and his mother is a white Coton de Tulear. He is very smart, and has a mellow, friendly nature. He loves to be held. He does not bark much, and so far has not displayed any negative traits. He likes car rides, a daily walk around the block and playing fetch. He has been fairly easy to train on everything we have wanted. He gets brushed daily, and we bathe him once a month. We also use conditioner on his hair to minimize breakage. We adore him, and everywhere we go with him, people stop us to say how cute he is!"
