Peke-A-Chon
(Frise Pekingese)

Bichon Frise / Pekingese
Hybrid Dogs

The Peke-A-Chon is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Bichon Frise and the Pekingese. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.

"This is Cash after he got an 'ear cut'. We trimmed some of the hair off of his ears, because they can get really long (people mistake him for a poodle). He's about 1 1/2 year old in this picture and weighs about 10 lbs."

"This is our Peke-A-Chon Cashmere. We call him Cash. He was about 10 weeks old in this picture and barely 2 lbs. He has a lot of personality. He's definitely all boy, and loves to play in outside (especially in the dirt!!). He likes to spend his days outside with our 7-month old Akita Kenji. Even though Kenji is about 50 lbs bigger than Cash, he knows who the boss is. Cashmere keeps the big baby in his place, but still has enough energy to run around the yard after him."
