The Maguire Pekingese
Meet the two newest additions to the
Maguire Pekingese collection!
Both were rescued from the Texas Pekingese Rescue
Missy, a Mini Pekingese, and Gerrick
-
Missy weighs 7 ½ pounds and Gerrick is
slightly bigger. (I need to have Gerrick weighed to give an exact weight) Gerrick is also on the small side for a Pekingese, but not as tiny as Missy.

Gerrick was born not able
to walk. His back legs were fused together. After his two operations
(courtesy of his new loving mommy) he is now a happy boy walking all around his
new home.
Gerrick
Missy is what is considered a Mini Pekingese. She was
previously owned by a puppy mill and kept in-slaved in a tiny cage for the first
year and a half of her life. When she was first rescued she did not know what to
do with her newly found freedom. Missy has adjusted very well and I can assure
you will be spoiled :)
Missy is so tiny she looks like a stuffed toy at first glance.
