Dogue de Bordeaux / Neapolitan Mastiff Hybrid Dogs
The Ultimate Mastiff is not a
purebred dog. It is a cross between the Dogue de Bordeaux and the
Neapolitan Mastiff. The best way to determine the
temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you
can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed.
Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50%
purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed
multi-generation crosses.
This is Otis, his mother is a registered Neopolitan Mastiff, his father a registered Dogue De Bordeaux (French Mastiff) at 2 years old. He is a very easy going dog that loves people, other dogs and cats. He doesn't like traveling too much and he gets occasional ear infections due to his droopy ears but he is such a character especially when he wants to play. He runs around with our other 3 dogs a Lab / Malamute, Chihuahua & Shih Tzu/Chihuahua.
