Nala the African-American Bull Boerboel as a puppy at 4 months old—"This is our adorable little girl named Nala. Nala's mother is a South African Mastiff (Boerboel) in the dopper Madala line. Nala's dad is an American Bulldog. Nala has proven true to both breeds to be great with kids. We have two daughters and the girls and Nala play and get along with one another really well. Nala is fairly well behaved and pretty easy to train. She loves squeaky toys and destroying the garden. She has earned the nickname Nala Queen of the Jungle for her stalking around the pampas grasses in the backyard."

Other Names

American Bull Rottie

Description

The African-American Bull Boerboel is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the American Bulldog and the Boerboel. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in any of the breeds in the hybrid. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
