Lily the Aussie Springer at 3 years old—"Lily is an Aussie Spaniel (Australian Shepherd / English Springer Spaniel mix). She is a very friendly, happy, moderately energetic girl. She was very easy to train! She loves to swim, run, play fetch, cuddle and go on car rides. She's great with our cat and other dog. She loves kids and basically any attention she can get. Lily is hyper at times, but with 20-30 minutes of exercise a day shes perfectly content. She is a great combination of the two breeds."

Description

The Aussie Springer is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Australian Shepherd and the English Springer Spaniel. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses
