"This is my Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier / Husky mix at 8 years old. Her name is Whiskey. She is very playful and loves to run and dig. She weighs 32 lbs but she is a lap dog. She wants to be the center of attention. She looks more like a Wheaten Terrier, but her eyes are all Husky. Whiskey is a very entertaining dog. She falls off the couch about everyday. She is always doing something funny. She is very smart but stubborn. She has a happy personality, she greets everyone. She is a talker and she howls. She loves anything or anyone that is willing to play with her. Overall she is a great, beautiful dog."

Description

The Husky Wheaten is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and the Siberian Husky. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
