Collectable Vintage Greyhound Dogs

For your enjoyment only. This is my own personal vintage dog figurine collection. They are not for sale.

The left side of a white with black and tan Greyhound figurine in a lying down pose. The figurine has a couple of large black spots on its body.

Pictured is a large vintage Grehound dog by Goebel. It is of a brown, black and white dog in a lying down pose. It is wearing a black collar. On the bottom of the dog is the Goebel trademark 1 double crown mark. A double crown mark means the mark appears twice on the same piece. This one has the mark stamped in green under the glaze and an incised mark with a circle around it. There is an engraving that reads C.H. 115. The crown marks date the figurine between 1935 and 1949. It measures 5 inches tall from the ground to the top of the head, 9 1/4 inches long from the tip of the paws to the base of the tail and 4 1/4 inches wide across the back from tail to hip.

This is a large vintage Greyhound dog by Goebel. On the side of the dog is the remnants of a sticker. I am unsure what kind of sticker it is. I have never seen a sticker like that on the side of a Goebel before.

Vintage bone China Greyhound dog with a flat finish.

This miniature vintage Greyhound bone china figurine is only 1 inch high and 1 1/2 inches long. This little guy seems to be the same as the figurines above but it has a flat finish and has obviously had a much rougher life. Its paw was once broken and repaired with some type of glue that turned brown over the years. It has that porcelain ring to it when you touch it. It was purchased used at a flea market somewhere around the 1980s, possibly early 1990s.
