Information and Pictures

Conner the Plott Hound / Rottweiler mix breed dog at 16 months old—"Conner was born in a humane society and had six littermates. I first met him when he was two weeks old and immediately put a down payment for the adoption. Three weeks later he was mine to take home. Conner is a very loyal and fun loving dog. He loves to fetch and play in the snow! We don't "ride" a lot so when we do he knows exactly where we are going... either to the state park or the dog park. He was always been extremely good with other dogs and children of all ages. Although after a day with kids his favorite thing to do is to take a nap in front of the fireplace! Conner has been a blessing in my life and I love him like a son!"

Description

The Plott Rottie is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Plott Hound and the Rottweiler. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
