Rooster the Pekingese at 2 years old—"I got Rooster when he was 1 year old. He was a rescue. His owners had left him alone... a lot. Needless to say, they were doing things that got them put in jail. That's how I got him. He is the funniest little guy. He is my little lovey. He has a big attitude. He had trust issues when I first got him. He's better now. He does have separation anxiety... we are still learning about each other. He's the second Peke I've had. My first was MaggieMae... also a rescue. She passed a few years back of congestive heart failure. She changed my outlook on life. She touched everyone that she met.
