Tszaker the Caucasian Ovcharka is sitting on a rock and looking down and to the right

"This majestic fellow is Tszakar, a purebred Caucasian Ovcharka imported from Russia by ThunderHawk Caucasians. Of giant size and legendary protection ability, this ancient and rare flock-guardian breed originated in the Caucasus Mountains of the former Soviet Union. Tszakar and friends appeared in the National Geographic Special, "Designer Dogs"—a clip is available on the ThunderHawk website. Considered a natural breed, National Geographic presented the Caucasian in this documentary as an alternative to man-made breeds." Photo courtesy of ThunderHawk Caucasians

Dolly the Caucasian Shepherd Dog puppy at 6 months old weighing 65 pounds (29 kg)—"This is my CO puppy. We expect her to be about 140 lbs (63.5 kg) when she is full grown. We found a trainer that helps us deal with the stubborn personality of a CO. It requires a great deal of work and the breed is not for inexperienced owners. We got this dog as a puppy from Northern Lights. Both parents are working dogs that come from the Ukraine. Her lines are awesome."

Borris the Caucasian Ovtcharka—"I Had a Caucasian Ovtcharka named Czarina for 4 years and after she died, we ended up adopting her son Boris from a home that could not have such a large dog. We got Boris when he was about 4 years old and had him for 5 years. He has since passed on, but he is still my baby. This picture is Borris with an extremely goofy face. I live on a 3 acre lot with 1 acre fenced in where Boris could roam free. He had a very calm and content personality around people, especially kids. He was always very gentle when he needed to be. His playmate was my Chinese Pug, Abbey, and they were so adorable playing together, and Boris knew not to be too rough because Abbey was so small. He guarded our yard very well and alerted us when something did not seem right, even if it was the slightest scent of something that did not fit. I miss him so much and I would love it if you could share his pictures and story to everyone. Thank you and have a great day."
