Image showing the bottom Goebel stamp—Vintage West Germany 30 110 Goebel Schnauzer dog from the 1979 to 1990 (trademark 6 - TMK-6) time period. It is what some collectors call the “missing bee” logo. It is the years Goebel stopped using the bee symbol on their figurines. Starting in 2000 the logo once again included a bee.

Pictured is a large vintage West Germany Goebel Schnauzer puppy—This figurine is part of the over-sized collection with the trademark 6 (TMK-6) mark. The TMK-6 trademark was used between 1979 to 1990. It is of the name Goebel with W. Germany below it. It is nicknamed the "missing bee" among collectors. These very large figurines were only made for a short time before the company discontinued them. Incised into the inside of the back left leg is the number 3003620. This is a thick piece standing 7 1/2 inches tall from the ground to the tip of the ear, 9 inches long from the front snoot to the back of the paw and 5 1/2 inches wide across the bottom from paw to paw. The head is 4 inches long from the chin to the tip of the ear and 3 inches wide from ear to ear. The paws are relatively large, each measuring 1 1/2 inches wide.

Shown is an occupied Japan vintage Standard Schnauzer porcelain figurine. This little dog is hand painted and is in very good condition. After World War II between 1945 and 1952, items imported from Japan to the United States had to be marked in a fashion indicating they came from Japan. During that time there were four different ways items were being marked; they were 'Japan,' 'Made in Japan,' 'Occupied Japan,' and 'Made in Occupied Japan'. However, only the marks 'Occupied Japan' and 'Made in Occupied Japan' are clear indications that the piece was made during that timeframe and most hobbyists look for the latter two marks when collecting.

The front left side of a figurine of a Miniature Schnauzer sitting. The figurine is made out of clay.

This is an odd looking Miniature Schnauzer figurine. It's made out of what appears to be some type of clay; reminds me of play dough almost. Perhaps some type of ceramic? If you touch your tongue to it you can taste salt (not recommended). Therefore I am going with some type of play dough mixture. Yet it feels hard like ceramic. It is unfinished with no glaze. The only paint I see is a dot of black on the eyes. I bought it at a flea market in the 1990s. It was used at the time so the age of it is unknown. It is unmarked so the maker is also unknown. Whatever it is, it's majestic looking and very unique. It stands 2 1/2 inches tall, 1 inch long and 1 1/2 inches wide.
