Mister the American Bandogge Mastiff at 4 years old—"Mister is a 4th generation American Bandogge: Weight: 140lbs Height: 27.5 inches Head: 28 inches Age: 4 years Mother: 3rd generation American Bandogge (Pit Bull Terrier x Neo Mastiff) Father: Pure Neapolitan Mastiff. He has an excellent temperment, raised and socialized with small animals, cats and dogs. He is brave, loyal, stays by my side, walks without a need for a lead-everywhere. Until someone gets freaked out by his size. I chose not to clip the tail or ears due to not wanting the aggressive look, plus it hurts! I do wish at times that I did dock the tail, it's like a whip and thick as my wrist. He loves to ride, swim, hike, and pee on everything at the dog park. I think he spends more time doing that than actually engaging in play with other dogs. I like it that way for we have had zero altercations. Small dogs freak out at his size and usually become aggressive towards him so we steer clear of the porch barkers. The one gripe I have is that he refuses to poop in our yard, he absolutely is hell bent on pooping in my neighbors yard. He's my son and the only other testosterone in the house (I have 3 daughters). Best dog I have ever owned out of the previous breeds. I have had Pit Bulls, several Doberman Pinschers, a Fila Brasilliero, a Chow Chow, a Jack Russell, multiple German Shepherds, and a host of Heinz 57's (rescued muts). You definitely need to understand the Alpha Pack Leader mentallity while raising this type of dog, this is too much animal to be disobedient."
