It measures 6 3/4 inch from the ground to the tip of the ear, 8 inches long from the back of the leg to the tip of the snoot and 2 inches wide across the front of the chest.

West Germany vintage Boxer figurine by Goebel—this is a fairly large dog that stands 7 1/4 inches tall, 9 inches long from the back of the leg to the tip of the nose and about 2 1/4 inches wide. It is in excellent condition with a nice glossy finish. On the bottom of the front right paw is the number 17. On the under belly is the number 30 61718. Next to that there is a blue stamped logo that reads Goebel with W. Germany under the name. Directly under the logo is the date stamp that reads 1968. A lot of sellers and collectors mistake this date for the date the figurine was made. The date is actually when the mold was first made. The company would use the same mold containing that date for years to come. To determine the date of a Goebel you need to look at the layout of the Goebel logo. This particular dog sets the timeframe it was made between 1972 and 1978. It is what collectors call the trademark 6 (TMK-6). Some call it the “missing bee” because this was the timeframe when Goebel used a mark that did not contain the famous bee symbol. Their next logo change after this one once again included a bee.

Pictured is a large Boxer in a matte finish by Goebel. It is of a fawn dog with a white chest, paws and some white on the face. It has black around both eyes, on the end of the snoot and the tips of the ears. The nose is black and the eyes are brown with black centers. On the inside of the back right leg is the engraving 3063122. On the inside of the left leg is an engraving of the date 1973, which would indicate the date the mold was made. The dog was described as having an asperque finish. I have not been able to confirm what asperque means. The figurine stands 8 1/2 inches tall from the ground to the tip of the ear, 8 1/2 inches long from the front of the snoot to the back leg and 2 1/4 inch wide across the front of the chest.

This is a Goebel Schaubach-Kunst fawn Boxer head wall mount. On the back there is a blue stamp that reads by W. Goebel. Under that stamp is the trademark 3 (TMK-3) Goebel logo of the bee inside the V. The bee is rather large and inside the V. This was the mark Goebel used in 1957. This is a very handsome fawn and white Boxer head. The pictures do not do it justice. It has a nice glossy finish to it that makes it hard to get a good picture of as the light reflects off it. The colors are deep, the expression is serious. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. It is 5 1/4 inches tall from the tip of the ear to the bottom of the chin, 5 inches from the wall to the snoot and about 3 inches wide.

This Goebel Boxer puppy is from the same line as the puppy above but it was made in the 1970s. The date is determined by the type of Goebel logo that is stamped in blue on the bottom. It is of the bee inside the V above the 'bel' in the name Goebel. Below that it reads W Germany. This dates the figurine to between 1972 and 1978. It also has CH 567 engraved into the bottom. It is slightly smaller than the 1957 version. This pup is 2 3/8 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches long from the tip of the tail to the front paw and 1 3/4 inches wide.

These three Goebel Boxer puppy figurines are all relatively the same but do have little differences. Since they are hand painted they vary slightly, especially around the eyes and areas of white. They are all engraved with CH 569 B. They all have the 1957 Goebel trademark 3 (TMK-3) logo in blue of the large bee deep inside the V. The wings of the bee fall below the V and also go above the top of the V. The first two dogs are stamped with the word Foreign on the bottom in black at the tip of the tail. The third pup is stamped in black with Germany. That pup also has a black and silver Golden Crown E & R Germany sticker. All three pups vary slightly in their shades of color. They are all 3 inches tall, 3 inches long from the tip of the tails to the front of the paws and are about 2 inches wide from hip to hip.

This is a group of four Boxer puppies by Goebel, all from the 1970s. The pups all have uncropped years and undocked tails. Judging by their looks they are all from the same line of dogs but do vary in the way they are marked. This is an adorable bunch!
Let’s first take a look at the two lying down pups in the middle that look the same.
The pups’ white markings on the head are slightly different. The pup on the right has colors which are slightly darker and it has more brown on its tail then the pup on the left. The pups are both about 1 inch tall, 3 1/4 inches long from the front paw to the top of the tail and 1 1/2 inches wide.
The pup on the left has a black and gray muzzle while the pup on the right has a white and tan muzzle.
The pup on the left has white paws and a white belly while the pup on the right is brown. The pup on the left has the Goebel trademark 5 (TMK-5) logo on its side. The pup on the right has the logo appear on the very bottom of the figurine.
The pup on the left has a white tipped tail while the pup on the right is all brown. The shade of brown does lighten as it gets closer to the tail but it is still a shade of brown.
Both of these pups have the trademark 5 (TMK-5) Goebel logo which means they were both made between 1972 and 1978. The pup on the left has the logo appear on the side of the belly under the glaze. There is no number on that pup. The pup on the right has the logo appear above the glaze on the bottom of the back left paw. That pup also has a number engraved that reads 30 502-02.

This little Goebel Boxer pup is in a lying down pose with his head up and alert. It is fawn with white tips and a white mark on the forehead. On the side of the pup is an engraved number that reads 506. On the bottom is the trademark 5 (TMK-5) Goebel silver and blue sticker. It is about 1 1/4 inches tall, 3 1/3 inches long from the muzzle to the tip of the tail and 1 1/2 inches wide.

This is a vintage 1970s Goebel Boxer puppy in a sitting pose. This pup is fawn and tan with a black muzzle. It has cropped ears and a docked tail. On the bottom is the silver and blue Goebel sticker of the trademark 5 (TMK-5) logo. It is of the bee inside the V above the 'bel' in the name Goebel. Below that it reads W. Germany. There are two engravings that are shallow and hard to read. I believe the first number reads 30 707-07. The second number is a date that I believe reads 1975, which would indicate the date the mold was made. To determine the date of the figurine one must look at the logo. The TMK-5 trademarks were placed on figurines between 1972 and 1978. This dates this particular figurine between 1975 and 1978. This little pup measures 2 1/2 inches from the ground to the tip of the ear, 1 3/4 inch long from the tip of the tail to the front paws and 1 1/2 inches wide from hip to hip.

Vintage Cortendorf porcelain figurine of a Boxer dog. The Cortendorf Porcelain Factory was a predecessor of Goebel, founded by Julius Griesbach in Coburg-Cortendorf, Bavaria, Germany, in 1890. The Goebel company bought the Cortendorf company in 1973 and renamed it Cortendorf W. Goebel. This piece was made before Goebel took over Cortendorf. This Boxer is looking over its shoulder. It’s in great condition with a nice glossy finish. There is some crazing on the underbelly. On the bottom is the Cortendorf logo of a crown with a C under it with a rectangle around it. On the left of the rectangle it reads Western. On the bottom it reads Germany. To the right of the rectangle it once said Made in, however the words are worn off.
