Collectable Vintage Pharaoh Hound Dogs

(Kelb Tal-Fenek)

For your enjoyment only. This is my own personal vintage dog figurine collection. They are not for sale.

A porcelain figurine of a Pharoah Hound. The figurine is very glossy.

This is a vintage Pharaoh Hound dog figurine by the Soviet USSR Gorodnitsky porcelain factory. The factory in Gorodnitsa became the third of its kind in the Ukraine. It was started in 1799. That factory is connected with another porcelain factory in Kortse. It was one of the largest companies for porcelain in the Ukraine, Soviet Union, Brno and Leipzig. They often showed their pieces at fairs in Bruxelles. They had their 200th anniversary in 1999. The stamp on the bottom corresponds with the 1952-1954 model year. The piece stands 3 1/4 inches tall, 5 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide with a nice glossy finish and piercing eyes. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs of any kind.
