Black Vulture
Vultures have a very keen sense of smell and feed mainly on animal carcasses, but will also eat small prey such as rodents, insects, lizards and smaller birds. When food is available they feed heavily, however they can go for days without if need be.
The Black Vulture is not as common as his relative the Turkey Vulture. Black Vultures are more aggressive than Turkey Vultures. They sometimes follow around Turkey Vultures and when the Turkey Vulture finds himself a meal the Black Vulture will claim it as his own.

A couple of vultures spotted overlooking some farm animals. I do not believe they are Black Vultures as they have less feathering on their heads, but they are some type of vulture.
