Minnie Mouse the Raggle at 1 1/2 years old—"Minnie Mouse is a Raggle, half Rat Terrier half Beagle."
The Raggle is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Beagle and the Rat Terrier. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.

"This is Rooie, our Raggle that we recently lost. This picture was taken when she was four years old. She was an outstanding dog. Her parents were purebred Beagle and purebred Rat Terrier. Rooie was the perfect family pet. She was great with children, all people, cats and dogs. She never got too big—only around 20-25 lbs. She was active and playful, but not hyper. She was highly affectionate and loved to cuddle. She was also very versatile and would be happy and on the best behavior no matter where we went. All of our friends and family loved this dog...she will be greatly missed."

"This is Snoopy our Beagle / Rat Terrier mix. He is the most loving dog we have ever had. He loves to cuddle and be with his "Daddy & Mommy" at all times. Also a very alert watchdog. He is 2 years old in these pictures and weighs 21 pounds. We got him free from a friend of a friend. I had purebred dogs growing up as a kid and none of them could compare to our Snoopy!"

"This is my dog Doji. He is a Raggle (Beagle & Rat Terrier mix). He was just over 14 weeks old when both of the pictures were taken. The cat in the picture was a lost cat that we took in while searching for its owners. Doji got along great with the cat, unfortunately, we had to give the cat back to its owners."
"Doji is friendly, energetic, playful and he snores. He gets along great with other dogs. He gets a little shy around strangers, but warms up quickly once he has a chance to sniff them out. He is only vocal when left alone."
"He is a fast learner; he learned to "sit", "(lay) down" and "shake" in two days. Potty training was a little more difficult, because we live in an apartment and he couldn't always hold it from the third floor down to the first. He doesn't like the cold very much, and it was difficult to get him to go potty in the snow, but he is learning."
"This is my first dog and so far we have been bonding extremely well. He is the cutest puppy ever!"
