"This is Poo-Key, she is currently competing in Novice "A" agility. I took this photo in agility class while practicing. Poo-Key is a 3-year-old Pit-Bull / Miniature Schnauzer mix. She has lots of energy and loves going on a daily walk with her best friend a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named, Nina. Poo-Key also loves to chase squirrels in our backyard. She Hates meeting people (she growls), but in about 10 minutes she will love you. One bad habit that she has is when we go for a walk, it looks like she is walking you (she pulls A LOT). A good habit that she has is that she will share anything with our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel."
The Schnauzer Pit is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Pit Bull and the Schnauzer. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
