This is a vintage Lomonosov USSR Russian porcelain Pointer dog figurine. The USSR disbanded in the early 1990s; current production figurines are stamped Made in Russia. This is a spectacular looking well-mannered Pointer with a boxy shaped snoot. You can see the intelligence in his eyes. This is a very large figurine at 6 inches tall from the ground to the top of the head, 12 inches long from the front paws to the back of the tail and 3 1/2 inches wide.

Pictured is a vintage double crown mark Goebel Pointer puppy figurine with a fly on it's nose. The double crown mark is the Goebel trademark 1 logo, which dates the piece between 1935 and 1949. It is a symbol of a crown with WG overlapping one another, which are the initials of William Goebel. The word double means that the crown mark appears twice on one piece. This dog has both a mark stamped in blue and an incised mark. The interesting thing about this piece is the crown marks are slightly different than one another. The incised crown is narrower than the stamped crown, meaning the crown is spaced closer together and the edges of the W do not fan out. There is also an engraving that reads CH 101 3. This dog is white with brown patches on the shoulder blades, on the lower back and masked over the eyes and ears. The belly and bottom of the back paw is pink. The mouth is pink. The tips of the paws are black. This Pointer puppy is in a sitting pose. It looks like it is about to or just got finished scratching its ear. When I look at it I think of a cartoon or clay type style that might come to life if I stare at it long enough. It looks like it has a smirk on its face and the eyes look like they are watching you. It measures 5 1/4 inches tall from the ground to the top of the head, 4 inches long from the front paw to the back and 4 1/2 inches wide across the front from the back paw to the front paw. Made in Germany

This is a vintage ceramic Pointer figurine. This little pointer stands 1 3/4 inch high by 2 3/4 inch long. It would be longer but the tail broke off. He now has a docked tail ;-). The back left leg was also broken and repaired. He was purchased used at a flea market in the 1980s and spent his days in the bedroom of a teenager where he suffered the fate of his broken leg and tail.
