View from the road looking onto the Assateague campgrounds
Turtle spotted inside the Assateague Island State Park and
National Seashore. This turtle was in the road. We had to stop our car and place
it in the grass so it did not get run over. Not only do you have to drive slow
to avoid hitting a pony, but also to avoid creatures such as this turtle.
