The Boskimo is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the
American Eskimo and the
Boston Terrier. The best way to
determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross
and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in
either breed. This hybrid cross is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid
Club. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs
being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to
breed multi-generation crosses.

"This is my Boskimo named
Murfy at almost 2 years old. His father is a Boston Terrier and his
mom is ½
Boston ½
mini American Eskimo. He has the pointy ears and
fur like the Eskimo and the nub tail of a Boston. He is into
agility, very fast runner and he is an excellent high jumper. He is
very quirky, shy until he gets to know you. He loves other dogs. His
favorite games are tug of war or fetch. He really enjoys chasing his
brother, Diesel, the Chihuahua."

"Angel, the Boskimo at almost 9
months old. Angel's mom is a registered American Eskimo and her dad a
registered Boston Terrier. Angel is a classic goof ball full of energy and
pranks. When you open the front door she runs outside and jumps into the
swimming pool or livestock tank, splashes around biting the water then she
will come back and scratch at the door to be let in. After you let her in
and you sit down she will run and jump on your lap when wet. She gets a kick
out of seeing you jump when you get wet. She is very loyal and sleeps at my
feet when I am on the computer and also when I go to bed. She loves to give
kisses also and is great with kids and other animals. She is so loving you
have to push her away at times."
