Lady the Cava-Chin (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel / Japanese Chin mix) at 10 months old
The Cava-Chin is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Japanese Chin. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
"This is Prince our precious Cavachin as a puppy at 4 months old. He’s an absolute angel. So smart, sweet and affectionate. He couldn’t be a more perfect fit for my 5 year old daughter and I’s little family."
Ollie the Cava-Chin (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel / Japanese Chin mix) at 7 months old—"Ollie is a Cavachin puppy who enjoys sleeping, playing and most of all eating! He is calm indoors but has lots of energy to go on walks or run in the field. He'll do anything for a treat which makes him easy to train. Ollie is very loyal and hardly leaves my side when he is off leash, unless he sees another dog, in which case he is in their face giving them lots of kisses! Ollie likes to be around people, but he's not much of a cuddler. In fact, he'll move to a different couch if someone sits down next to him!"
