Dogs Caught in the act!
Page 19

The following are pictures and stories of dogs caught in the act of doing deeds, we fellow dog owners, would have preferred them NOT to do. This section is sure to keep you laughing, after all, it was not YOUR Dog! or was it? Despite these deeds, most of us still love our dogs. For those of you who just had a dog commit a No, No, look at these picture pages, don't feel so bad, it could have been worse! Do you have a photo(s) of your pet caught in the act of a "No, No"? Send it in! along with your story.

Wondering why dogs do these bad deeds? Puppies need constant guidance and to be taught what is acceptable and what is not. A dog who goes on daily pack walks is less likely to engage in any destructive tendencies. Most dogs who are destructive are not happy dogs. When a dog is destructive it is usually a sign that there is something lacking in the dogs life. Something that the canine animal needs which the humans around them are not providing. Perhaps boredom, a lack of communication, exercise, discipline or a general understanding between canine and human. A dogs actions are a direct result of the humans around them. Roxie the Boxer has destroyed a lot of things in her short life

"This is Roxie, the Boxer. She's 2 years old in this picture. I have many pictures of her destruction-but only 1 "caught in the act." (Actually this is not all her deeds, I just stopped taking pictures of it all) -- Roxie went to obedience school. I thought she did great! But, they never gave us her diploma. Maybe she can get her GED... "

Beau, the German Shepherd Stealing some dog bones

"This is Beau, our 12 year old German Shepherd on Christmas morning. While we were opening presents with the family, Beau decided she wanted a snack. She had gotten these cookies as a present along with some other toys, and managed to open and sneak about half the box while we were not looking! Sneaky little girl!"

4 year old female Beagle named Bailey Caught trying to sneak some Pizza!

"This is my 4 yr old female Beagle named "Bailey". I am an over the road truck driver and got the chance to cook a frozen pizza one day while waiting for my load to finish in Wisconsin. Bailey decided that the pizza box smelled REAL good and had to check it out....up close!! I snapped this picture when I kept feeling this thumping and hearing this rustling around the truck. She is a fun loving little girl and very well behaved. She is quite literally my best friend and literally around me 99% of the time. I really love her!!"

Scout the Boxador puppy at 9 weeks old, caught in the act of chewing the kitchen mat

Scout the Boxador puppy at 9 weeks old, caught in the act of chewing the kitchen mat. "She is a loving, playful girl with a fetish for hair and my ears. She also seems to have something against my kitchen mat. She doesn’t do this with any other mat or blanket… just the one in the kitchen."

No, No Scout! Not the Kitchen Mat!

Drop it Scout!

"I replaced that mat with a heavier one with a rubber bottom, thinking this would stop her. I was wrong. All it did was make it a little harder."

Rocky, the Great Dane, after playing in the mud

"Here’s a picture of our Great Dane, Rocky, after he went digging in the mud. He’s a big, goofy, lovable dog (one of our five dogs). He really is quite a character."
