"This is Chuck Norris. Chuck is a Miniature Dachshund / Miniature Schnauzer hybrid. He weighs in at 13 lbs. and is a year old in these pictures. He likes being the center of attention, especially if it involves treats. He LOVES playing with any other dogs and humans who so much as smile in his direction."
The Miniature Schnoxie is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Dachshund and the Miniature Schnauzer. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.

Gwen the Miniature Schnoxie (half Miniature Schnauzer / half Miniature Doxie) at one year old— "She is my social butterfly and loves everyone, even cats! And yes, those are her eyes. It fits her personality where sometimes she's the blue-eyed devil, and at others a sweet brown-eyed girl!"
Daphne the Miniature Schnoxie at 2 years old— "This Daphne my Miniature Schnoxie (Miniature Dachshund / Miniature Schnauzer mix). Behaviorally speaking, she is a perfect mixture of the two breeds. She is stubborn and pugnacious, but is also affectionate, playful, and a lover of any good lap. Though small (15 lbs), she is the alpha of the pack. She loves to bask in the sun, but also enjoys a good walk. Like most Dachshunds, she is not a fan of cold, wet weather and often objects to going outside during these conditions."
