Bugsy, an American Eskimo Dog / Pug mix at 4 years old (Pug-A-Mo)
The Pug-A-Mo is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the American Eskimo and the Pug. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
"This is Abby my 7 year old Pug-A-Mo. She's got a to-die-for personality that makes you smile every time! She's so full of energy and is always ready to take on whatever comes her way! She never shies away from telling you what she wants. She loves to sit on the back of the couch or any where where she's able to see you eye to eye. She can never get enough attention! Best side kick I could ever ask for!"

"My dog's dad was a brindle Pug and his mother was an all white miniature American Eskimo. He has the van coloring typical of the Pug, but on his ears they are brindled. He is a very loyal family dog and dedicated to us. He even has learn to alert us to upcoming health issues."
