"These are my female Silky-Pin pups at 4 weeks old (Silky Terrier / Min Pin mix dogs). Had 3 males and 3 females. One male and one female were born with short tails and one male was born with a half-tail. The rest had full-length tails. My vet said that this is a unique trait. All seem friendly and like attention."
The Silky-Pin is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Silky Terrier and the Miniature Pinscher. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
