Grayson the American Pit Bull Terrier at 3 years old—"Grayson was taken by her previous owners to a high kill pound. Since she was an owner surrender she went straight to the euthanasia room. A volunteer met her on the way and begged me to foster her for one week. I agreed and brought her home. Within minutes she adopted three kittens that I was bottle feeding. How do you get rid of a dog like that? She was an immediate foster fail! I kept her. She's great with all other dogs and I use her to assess the temperaments of dogs at the pound I work at. Aside from room clearing farts, she is a great joy to have. And she still helps me raise kittens!"

"This is our 3 ½-month-old Razor's Edge Pitbull puppy. Her name is Juicey. I took this photo of her with my cellphone; she is being held by my husband. She is a wonderful addition to our family. She is spoiled. She loves kids and loves being held. She likes anything that rolls. She loves to walk. She dislikes people throwing stuff, dogs barking on TV and tomatoes. Her bad habits are nibbling on fingers and toes, taking food and running. Every time someone knocks on the door she barks. It helps but sometimes it bothers me. She walks 3 miles everyday."

"Maddie the Pit Bull Terrier at 1 year old is the most cuddly dog I've ever met! Likes to give kisses and loves everyone she meets. She loves strawberries. (I read online they are OK for dogs.) She loves the dog park and seeing all her canine friends there. We call her our diva dog because she's quite the princess!"
