"Emma the Bichon Yorkie, also called a Yo-Chon according to the American Canine Hybrid Club, at 14 months old. Emma is full grown and only weighs 5 pounds. She's just a tiny little thing, as cute as anything. She has inherited the people-loving personality of the Bichon (she just loves all people) and the body of the Yorkie. Emma is naturally thin and light weight." See more of Emma the Yo-Chon.
The Bichon Yorkie is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Bichon Frise and the Yorkie. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
