Rex the Miniature Fox Terrier / English Cocker Spaniel mix breed puppy at 3 months old—"Rex is an interesting little fellow, full of energy, always happy and always into trouble. With a house full of kids it is no wonder he is the lovable little guy he is. He has an amazing temperment and is really a very loving social dog. We have taken him to the dog park since he was just 8 weeks old, so he enjoys being around people and other dogs. He loves attention and being in the spot light. He is very easy to train as he is very intelligent. He is currently in his 3rd week of puppy school. It took only a week and a half to house break him and when he was only about 8 weeks we taught him to sit within a few days. He looks more like a Fox Terrier than his mother the Cocker Spaniel and he has the cutest little curly pig tail ever. He has a lot of little quirks. When he eats he will take one kibble at a time under the table to eat it and then back for another kibble. He reminds me of a cat when he eats. Never has he demolished a bowl in one sitting like the average dog but then again Rex is not your average dog in the least. He loves watching Scooby Doo with his mommy (who is only 7 years old) and he also enjoys watching Dogs 101 with her. He loves visiting people and is extrememly social. In fact most of the residence and workers in our complex know Rex and stop by to visit giving him his daily greetings. He is a really special little guy and has added sure value to our family."
The English Mini Foxker is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the English Cocker Spaniel and the Miniature Fox Terrier. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
